Ex-Louisville basketball player Chris Jones and the two other defendants will are not going to be indicted on rape charges.
The grand jury decided today not to indict Chris Jones, Jalen D. Tilford and Tyvon Walker on rape and sodomy charges. The decision came after they listened to testimony from several parties involved.
Chris Jones was charged with raping two women February 22nd at the Cardinal Towne Apartments. Jalen Tilford and Tyvon Walker were also accused of rape. Jones was dismissed from the basketball team the next day and missed the remaining of the season with the Cardinals. Chris Jones was Louisville’s leader in assists and third leading scorer.
