Chris Jones is back in the news! A recent report coming in today say’s Chris threatened his girlfriend via text message last week, saying he would “smack” her.
At 12 am last Tuesday the girl who is also a student at the University of Louisville, said she went to see Chris at his apartment. But he wasn’t home, she then sent him a text message. The report states Chris text the woman back that he would “smack TF out of” her. As the Woman left his apartment, she admitted to messing up his room.
It happened the same day Coach Pitino suspended Jones for the Syracuse game.
The girlfriend who was not identified in the report given to WDRB did not want Chris prosecuted. But “preferred that someone talk to him about his behavior.”
University police have confirmed this to WDRB. According to “run report” provided.
