Former University of Louisville basketball player Chris Jones sent out a tweet today, only to delete it moments later. Chris Jones, who will be remembered for being charged with rape and sodomy, while playing for the Louisville Cardinals before being dismissed from the program back in February. Chris was has been cleared on all charges.
The tweet came right after CBS Sports reported that JaQuan Lyle confirmed the gist of allegations involving paid escorts to the NCAA.
This Chris Jones tweet certainly doesn’t imply any kind of guilt, but I’m sure the Louisville program could have done without it.
Update: Chris might have regretted sending out this. Right after this article was posted Chris Jones sent out another tweet. Guess we won’t be seeing Chris Jones Tweets in the future 🙂
