Today Coach Rick Pitino announced that suspended guard Chris Jones “probably won’t start,” but should be back with the Cardinals for their game against Miami on Saturday. It looks like Chris Jones took care of what the coaches wanted him to do.
Coach Pitino told Chris Jones that he needed to “pack his bags,” if he didn’t take care of the disciplinary matter. Since Chris didn’t make the trip with the team to Syracuse yesterday, he had some alone time to think about his future. And he has decided that he wants to follow the team rules and play for the Louisville Cardinals.
Chris was given another shot, and he plans to make the best of it.
