InsideLouisville.com talked to Mr. Peyton Siva Senior on the phone today about the Louisville escort scandal; the whole ordeal has him online defending his son and the University of Louisville basketball program, mostly from UK fans that are basking in the Louisville scandal. Mr. Siva believes the accusations in the Katina Powell book are false, and he went on Facebook yesterday to make a “Let’s be clear” message.

The Powell book does contain a photo of Louisville player Peyton Siva and Rod-Ni (Powell’s daughter) in the dorm after a party it says. Under that photo says,
“Siva took pictures of the dancers but didn’t have sex.”
The photo shows Peyton Siva and Rod-Ni in thick winter coats with a guy in a suit and tie in the background. The picture didn’t look like a dorm party photo to me.
Siva Sr. told InsideLouisville.com in a phone conversation today that he’s been in Billy Minardi Hall many times, even spending the night there on several occasions from 2009 to 2013. He says he had to sign in each time in front of security cameras and has never seen a side door there. He admits that there is always a few crazy knuckleheads anywhere you go, but that group of young men were a special team, and they were all brothers that, for the most part, did things the right way.
Siva Sr. loved & supported the Louisville basketball team so much that he moved here in Louisville to be close to Peyton Siva Jr. and to support the team. He still to this day lives right here in our city and continues to go to basketball, football and many other sporting events that have the Louisville Cardinals logo on the jersey.
Siva also told InsideLouisville.com about a book he is writing about his experience following his son, and the adventures of their life. Unlike the Powell book, this one will be worth buying. I couldn’t get an estimated released date, but he did tell me he’s currently working on it.
Peyton Siva Sr. & Jr. are both known and highly regarded for their honesty and religious convictions. If they tell you they didn’t see anything that book claims happened, you can take that to the bank.
