The preseason AP Top 25 was released yesterday afternoon. A quick glance will reveal that the North Carolina Tar Heels are the first number one team in the 2015-16 regular season.
For the first time since 2010 the Louisville Cardinals are unranked while starting basketball season.
Rick Pitino has been the Cardinals head coach for the last fifteen years, and this is just the fourth time while at Louisville that he has started unranked in the AP preseason poll.
