When Katina went to New York to be on The View about her book “Breaking Cardinal Rules‘, She took along Louisville gear to wear on her trip. She is above proudly sporting her Louisville Cardinals hoodie for selfies around the city.
Katina Powell’s daughter Lindsay Powell took time out her day on Thursday to post an article titled “UK under investigation for mishandling sexual assault investigation” to her Facebook wall saying
“Well well well lmao guess it aint just Louisville ctfu I’m going to bed”
and adding later in the commits
“Lmao n I’m still a Louisville fan“
Katina has sent many mixed messages, and her statements have been contradicting at times. Maybe she wanted to be a part of the scene so much that her book writing wasn’t 100% about money after all; I get the impression that she somehow wants credit for being part of the recruiting process. In her mind she thinks she helped UofL recruiting.
Under the first chapter of her book Katina writes,
“I felt like I was part of the recruitment team. A lot of them players went to Louisville because of me.”
Are these fan claims real or just more pokes at the current fan base? I guess when you grow up a Louisville fan, and you already have a closet full of Louisville Cardinals gear, it’s hard to switch sides, even when your actions bring so much negativity to the school you root for in basketball.
