The University of Louisville’s basketball program is under attack by a local Stripper, Escort, Prostitute named Katina Powell.
Katina Powell is releasing a new book Titled “Breaking Cardinal Rules: Basketball and the Escort Queen,” the book will tell her story of being a Louisville stripper and escort. She will claim in this book that she was repeatedly hired by former University of Louisville basketball staffer Andre McGee to provide prostitutes during the campus visits by recruits.
Ms. Powell is making a lot of claims in her new book, Her book alleges:
“At the peak of the dormitory and off-campus entertainment more than $10,000 cash changed hands to Katina for supplying the women. This does not include the hundreds of one dollar bills thrown at the dancers at each party by McGee, the recruits, and players. Nor does it include the money paid to the women who had sex with the recruits afterward. So frequent were the escapades that Katina would later say, especially after the Cardinals won the 2012-2013 NCAA championship: I felt like I was part of the recruitment team. A lot of them players went to Louisville because of me.”
So what do we know about this self-described Stripper, Escort, Prostitute named Katina Powell?
Her Facebook page says she went to Holly Cross (I think she meant Holy Cross) High School, But one would have to wonder how educated she must be with posts like the one below.
The Katina Powell book alleges that over a four-year period, She brought prostitutes into the basketball dormitory on the Louisville campus, through a side door to have sex with players and recruits. Katina Powell also says her dancers, which included her daughters, had sex with the member of the team at other locations off campus as well.
Can we believe such outrageous accusations she makes to be true? Or maybe she is just looking for a way to sell books and make money no matter who it hurts? Her facebook about me may give us the answer.
The University of Louisville provided the below statement.
“The university was shocked to hear of the allegations,” the statement read, adding, “The University of Louisville will continue its review in full cooperation and coordination with the NCAA and if warranted, take any appropriate action. The allegations have been taken very seriously. In no way would anyone at this institution condone the alleged activities.”
If Katina Powell, who is 43, were having sex with teenagers, or arranging her daughters to have sex with under-aged youth, which she claims, she could be in big trouble with the law herself. Not only is prostitution illegal in the state of Kentucky, but this state does not tolerate for 43-year-old adults to engage in sex acts with underage kids.
