Most Christians support Kim Davis because she claims the Christian faith. Should Kentucky give her a pass because she chooses this religion over all the others? Let’s take a step back and ask ourselves these questions.
- If Kim Davis were Amish, should she be able to refuse to give you a driver’s license or deny the issuance of an electrical permit?
Would you respect her exact priorities ahead of her job duties? - If Kim Davis was an Orthodox Jew, should she be able to demand that no business can be conducted in the country clerk’s office on Saturday, her Sabbath? Would that be her religious right?
- If Kim Davis was a Muslim and worked for the USDA, should she be able to refuse to certify pork products? Would that be her religious right to deny you eat bacon because it’s against her personal beliefs?
- Should Kim Davis, or any other government employee get a pass from doing their job by just saying, they can’t conduct government duties because it offends their God.

Should any religious principles automatically be accepted in any government job? Should we let their personal beliefs determine what limitations they will inflict on society?
Are Christians suggesting that people of other faiths are not worthy of the same religious liberties they demand?
Do Christians want Kim Davis as their spokesman on the issue of marriage mortality? After all she had been married four times and divorced three, and had two children while she wasn’t married.
Hasn’t Kentucky been shamed enough in the national media this year with the Redneck Drone Shooter?
One more question. Shouldn’t Kim Davis do her job or resign?
